Is that what you take? And if so, it doesn't hurt your system? Does it have a daily dose of iron in it?

I started taking the b12 again because I was feeling tired and fatigued. There is no iron in it but it helps with anemia. it doesn't bother me and I know of a few others on here that take it regularly. Here is a website that will give you some more information.

I hope it helps you.

When consuming iron-rich foods, be sure to include a source of vitamin C to assist in absorbing the iron.

Beano does work (I use it!) if you're nervous about gas or just gassy! After awhile, though, I discovered that my body more or less re-developed enzymes to digest foods like legumes and even broccoli. Mashed or pureed, these foods are actually rather gentle. I still use it for food-anxious days.

Wow, Beth--just take a stroll in that dark leafy area of the produce department and try something new! Swiss chard is a favourite of mine. Herbs have tons of iron, too. Radicchio rocks--I love to grill it in combination with romaine hearts.
I love arugula and will often mix or substitute it for spinach in one of my crazy green "Popeye" pesto sauces--it has a nice peppery quality to it. The neat thing about pureed greens is that you can "hide" them in a lot of stuff, as well.

I tried kale last week--it was so yummy. I recommend blending this one as it can be rough.

I'm not sure which I love best, though--swiss chard or spinach. Swiss chard, I think, is sweeter--especially the red. Beet greens are yummy, too.

I'm not fond of collards, though.

Sea-veggies have tons of iron, too--but they are high in IF, so be cautious.

Here's a list of iron-rich foods and a general outline about iron. Hope it's helpful. I didn't know that quinoa was so high in iron.
