Hi all, Thanks for reading. When I was first diagonosed with IBS about three years ago. Tostitos chips were one of my life savers. At that time, I don't think anyone did baked chips. Now, though, Tostitos came out with "baked Tostitos". I thought that Tostitos had always been baked?
I have had a hard time finding baked Tostitos locally. I don't seem to have any problems with regular plain Tostitos. Is there a difference?
Thanks.

I think the biggest difference would probably be the fat content which could be a problem for most IBS'ers. I rarely eat tostitos at all. I find that when I buy the baked tostitos they taste waaaaay too salty for me. That is what the Canadian versions taste like to me anyway. If you are going to eat regular ones I would make sure you limit the amount and are stable before doing so.

yep, like Beth said, it's the fat content. Non-baked (frieD) Tostitos are really really high in fat. They'd kill me. But baked Tostitos should be fine. Remember - always read labels!!! That'll tell you what's wrong with them
