ok so I have read through all the faqs and such. I have done searches to find out this stuff as well. So here are my questions and if they have been adressed before and I missed finding it, i'm sorry..

Campbells tomato soup(made w/water not milk)
Soy Sauce
Vinegers(are some better than others?)
Lipton Chicken noodle Sidekicks
V8 Veggie cocktail
Salami(schniders dry)
Sorbe
Flavorings. (I enjoy italien sodas when my stomach can handle carbonated water. These have caramel or irish cream, and other such flavors)
Aunt Jamima maple syrup
Gummi Bears

Also anyone from the western canadian area that can suggest where I could find things like turkey/chicken hot dogs and other summer time substitues for good foods?(or out foods?)

What are some yummy toppings for chicken, turkey, rice, ect?

So here are my questions and if they have been adressed before and I missed finding it, i'm sorry.. I believe that in Eating for IBS and IBS: The First Year (the books), Heather lists all the condiments and basic foods that are safe and that you should keep in your pantry. Substitution, not deprivation.

Campbells tomato soup(made w/water not milk) I'm not sure what the ingredients are - can you post them?
Soy Sauce Safe - watch for HFCS, MSG in some brands. Read labels!
Vinegers(are some better than others?) Sometimes a problem for some IBSers, but I haven't had a problem. I use white or red wine vinegar. Some of Heather's recipes incorporate balsamic vinegar.
Lipton Chicken Noodle Sidekicks What are the ingredients? I've never heard of these here.
V8 Veggie cocktail Is this the 100% vegetable juice? I would say safe since the IF in the veggies is broken down, which makes it easier to digest. I used to drink these - my only problem was with the taste. Also, tomato juice may be a problem for some folks. I would drink it after eating something that is SF based meal, like bread or after a meal.
Salami(schniders dry) NOT safe. Isn't salami made out of beef?!
Sorbe
Flavorings. (I enjoy italien sodas when my stomach can handle carbonated water. These have caramel or irish cream, and other such flavors) Sodas aren't safe because of the carbonation. You would need to see what ingredients the flavorings contain (check for dairy, HFCS, etc.). I've always had a problem with these.
Aunt Jamima maple syrup This contains HFCS, but I think a little bit on safe pancakes or waffles should be okay.
Gummi Bears Generally safe - the citric acid can bother some people with upper digestive troubles. I've eatin a few small gummi bears at a time and I've been fine. Double check that they don't contain HFCS - this keeps appearing in food! Don't get the sugar free kind since it will most likely contain a nasty sugar substitute.

Also anyone from the western canadian area that can suggest where I could find things like turkey/chicken hot dogs and other summer time substitues for good foods?(or out foods?)

What are some yummy toppings for chicken, turkey, rice, ect?

What is hfcs?? High fructose corn syrup (I think there's a list/sticky note of terms and abbreviations at the top of this board.)

Lipton chicken noodle side kicks ingredients:
noodles,
corn starch
hydrolyzed soy/corn protein
corn syrup solids I don't know if this would cause the same problems (gas, bloating, D) as HFCS.
salt
dried veggies(carrots, onions)
chicken fat Hmm. This makes it sound like it would be too high in fat.
msg This is a potential trigger for IBSers.
flavours Mysterious.
dehydrated mechanically separated cook chicken,
spice
dried parsley
disodium guanylate
disodium inosinate
autolyzed yeast extract
hydrongenated soybean oil and sulphates
*may contain traces of milk ingredients I don't know if this would be enough to bother IBSer or if it's just listed for people with severe milk allergies.
Personally, I wouldn't eat these just because of the MSG.

Campbells tomato soup
water
tomato paste
glucose-fructose
enriched wheat flour
salt
spice
citric acid and asorbic acid This might be a problem for people with upper GI issues (like GERD), but I've read that citrc acid can sometimes cause lower GI problems in IBSers. As mentioned earlier tomato paste and sauces can also be a problem for some IBSers. I think this is one of those foods you'll just have to experiment with.
