So I just bought the peppermint capsules, from Heather, but do I really have to wait one hour after I take one, before I eat? I didn't realize this, when I bought them.

I usually take them 30 minutes before eating...this seems to work well for me.

You can also take them right before you eat. I believe it says so on the bottle.

...to see if taking them right before the meal is as effective as taking them 60 minutes before?
It would be so much more convenient...but not worth the convenience if it doesn't work as well.

does anyone out there have any suggestions for immediate relief when an IBS falr up is happening? i.e. severe cramping, bloating, constipation/diarrhea,etc? For reasons unknown to me, there are periods of time when though I am still doing all the "right" things, yet I get flares and need to feel better FAST! Suggestions, please.

I haven't found a fix yet myself. If you discover the fountain of IBS health let us all know!! We would all benefit from it!!
