I would have to say bloating. I feel like a blown up balloon and so unattractive. I usually wear somewhat baggy shirts just because I do feel fat all the time, even though I'm trying to gain weight! It prevents me from wearing these cute tops I bought before I got IBS!

for pure unsociability and embarrassment factor.......the award goes to............... the "is there a dead animal in here" smelling farts when I eat food that does not agree with me. They are the reason I rarely eat icecream in public, or broccoli.

The after alcohol cramps can be horrifying too but they don't happen as often as the stinkiness.

A toss up between trapped gas and the "full of poop feeling"!

I totally agree with this one...the pungent smell like sewer,eewwww...I hate it, GAS!!!!! This is when it doesn't matter what I eat!! Also the D. and pain/nausea that goes with it during a flare. Sue

I would say fatigue. I've had IBS for 5 1/2 years but just started getting the "brain fog" fatigue and it is really depressing. I think it's an advanced form of IBS.

I could probably have a top 10 for this pretty easy unfortunately.

...and skirts, and dresses... I have a whole wardrobe of them, never getting worn, slowly going out of style.

I want them to address the issue of dressing an IBS-bloated person on TLC's What Not to Wear! LOL

What a tough choice! So hard to choose because they are all pretty rough to live with. Everytime I read someone elses post I want to change my answer.
