I consider the worst symptom to be the bloat... followed by fatigue. What about you? I find it quite difficult to truly enjoy life with both of these symptoms. The fatique is bad for me, I always feel like I'm in a dream-like or mindless state. One time I came home from a friend's house and slept for 15 hours straight! The bloating just makes me feel utterly horrible about myself, and it's also very difficult to completely control. I do have the fatigue as well, but I'm also anemic and not sure which is causing it and don't understand how the IBS would cause it. When people ask me to describe my IBS to them, I say it's like my ascending colon (where all my cramps are) is being squeezed in a vice, and someone has blown up some balloons in my gut behind that vice. -------------------- IBS-C, lots of spasm and trapped gas.
