How long until I feel better?

Hi all.

I started back on the IBS diet on Saturday morning. I'd previously eaten like crap for weeks. A few years ago, when I first discovered this, I felt better almost immediately (within a day or two). Now I don't feel any different at all - no change in bloating (which is horrendous) or pain yet.

How long do you think it will take? I'm willing to stick it out... just wanted to get an idea.

Thanks!
Elizabeth

P.S. I've been taking my SF and drinking lots of fennel tea, along with following the diet to a T.

Hey Elizabeth....both happy and sad to see you back. I guess it was more than the thyroid, huh? What happened?

Hi Beth

Well, my doctor thinks it's mostly thyroid, with a little IBS or chronic constipation. My thyroid is really screwed up right now because due to a mix-up with my insurance company, I was off medicine for over a month. I find that when my thyroid is better, my stomach is more tolerant. When my thyroid is cranky, my stomach is horrible.

Have you found ANY relief?
