I was recently told that I had hard water which contains calcium and magnesium. Could this be contributing to my diarrhea problems or am I way off with this idea? Just trying to get to the bottom of my stomach issues! Thanks!! Torre

Calcium and Magnesium are found in hard water, but the amounts vary region by region. It's not likely to make your D worse - most folks around here complain the cal and mag cause constipation. I would guess the D is coming from something else in your diet.

There is cholrine in tap water and that may be the culprit instead of the calcium and magnesium.
