I'm on it. It's working with my constipation, but not with my horrible bloating and abdominal pain. I'm working on finding a more natural approach to this nasty syndrome. My doc wants me on Zelnorm forever. I say NO WAY!

I started Zelnorm 2 weeks ago. It has helped with the pain, gasiness and bloating but has done nothing for my constipation. I do think that between the Zelnorm and the IBS diet, I am starting to stabilize. I did not experience any diarrhea that a lot of people do. The constipation problem lingers...

It works for some , but not for others. I used it & with in 15 minutes I had a movement. I had diareah, which, at the time, I was grateful for. The side effects include: Diharea, the shakes, I was kinda ache all over, not bad, but noticeble & a headache. I'd say the headache was the worst part of it, but it did help, so....

i was on zelnorm for about 1 year, and not using an ibs safe diet. i developed diarhea, which was a temporary relief, but became ibs-a. i did not find it to help the cramping, gas or bloating of constipation, but it defintly made my bowels move! i am no longer on zelnorm and thanks to heather's book, am feeling much better. still ibs-a but not as bad as before..

didnt work for me. I am now on Xiafian for bacteria in the small intestine and it seems to be working for the C.
