how much (as in milligrams) are you taking? I just started a prescription, 10 mg twice daily. Apparently this is a "take as needed" drug, but since I'm cramped all day long my doc said go ahead and try it daily.
Okay, so admittedly I've only been on it two days, but I haven't noticed any improvement yet. Does it take a while to kick in or am I on too weak a dosage? Or (sigh) is it yet another drug that does nothing for me...

I have been on Buscopan for several years. I basically just take it as needed up to 6 a day. I find that it does work, especially when you are having those terrible peircing stomach pains or bad menstrual cramps. It isn't one of those drugs where the longer you take it, the better it works. It is similair to taking an asprin or pain killer for your tummy. During a flare up I will take 2 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and then 2 before bed. It can make you drowsy so be careful driving etc..
I would hang in there with the buscopan, you will likely find that it eases the pain and if you have diarrhea, it can slow that down a bit as well. Good luck.
