Effexor and Wellbutrin for IBS type "C"

Has anyone had any luck with Wellbutrin or Effexor with IBS. I'm a C and have been researching a ton. Mayo Clinic and some other reputable institutes are releasing new studies done that say wellbutrin @ 150 mg. 2x day had a 72% improvement after 3-6 mos. I don't know anything about Effexor, just saw that med listed on several sites as well. If anyone has some info, I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks!

Although I was on them for the OCD, not IBS. Anyway, my IBS completely went away. Unfortunately, I'm not on effexor anymore, so my IBS is back. Sigh.

I took Wellbutrin for Depression and Social Anxiety. For two weeks my IBS COMPLETELY disappeared. But, it came back after those two weeks  I'm no longer on it

i took effexor for IBS (alternating) and depression and it was the most effective thing i've ever used. i was very stable when i went off of it about 6 months later. i ended up having a lot of shakiness from the effexor, which is why i went off of it, but i would go back on if i was really unstable again.
