I have found that any pork no matter how it is cooked is my enemy. Even if all the fat is cut off it still makes my IBS kick in. So I guess I will stick to the other white meat.

Are you KIDDING?! This stuff is a KILLER!! YOWZA! Truly, I got sick from this a hundred years before I was ever diagnosed with IBS. I just thought I had a food allergy, but it was the first signs. I haven't had even a teeny tiny bit of it since.....oh gee ...... 1968 I think it was. And do you know that turkey hot dogs are encassed in pork skins?! It's true. Turkey sausage as well.

When I go to an Italian restaurant, I always have to ask: "Is there pork in your sauce?" And ya know what? There ALWAYS is!

YIKES!!!!!

Well I guess I won't be doing any more dinners for New Years. We always did pork and sauerkraut. Hey the guys didn't care much for it anyway. Look out chicken. Gee I am learning so much from all of you........thanks.

My Naturopath told me years ago not to have pork because it was bad for IBS.

Yep, pork is bad! I think some people get confused and don't think pork is red meat, but any meat from a mammal is considered red meat. And the proteins in red meat are just more difficult to digest.

I can now eat protein in small doses, i espicially log pork ribs but only a small amount at a time. I have so much fiber in my system these days that it acts as a buffer agianst trigger foods. Even eggs on a good day waht a pleasure
