Go with Soy if you can handle it. Whey is dairy and is a trigger.

I've heard that the soy one contains sucralose, like Splenda, and can trigger cramping. What about doing one that has both whey and soy?

Whey is still a trigger - it depends on if you can handle it, or if it will trigger symptoms. Same with the sucralose - some have problems with this. Unfortunately, you aren't going to know if you can handle it until you try it. I would personally try the Soy one first.

Thanks, I'll try the soy one first. In reality though I can drink a glass of milk a day & not be affected. Though I wouldn't attempt to drink more than one glass a day...so maybe I'll stick with the soy one & see how it goes. Everyone's body is different, right?!? IBS stinks, that's for sure!

Virtually all the protein powders at GNC have artifical sweetners added to them. Since they can be a trigger, make sure to read the label.
