i'm lactose intolerant, but I find that whenever i have a small amount of dairy i wont necessarily experience the typical LI symptoms. instead I wind up getting constipated 2 days after, when whatever dairy i ingested reaches my colon. this may sound starnge but when that happens i also find that i have to urinate more frequently. anyone know how to prevent this from happening?

There are lots of dairy alternatives to use. Everything from milk to cheese to sour cream. Dairy is one my worst triggers and I have completed eliminated it from my diet w/o having to give up any foods I like. I just use soy/tofu products instead.

Yep, this one's not complicated: just don't eat it Like the others said, there are lots of alternatives, and there's sooooo many studies now that say not only is dairy not necessary for health, but it also might be incredibly harmful. So, just don't eat it!

Not sure of the urination link but dairy messes me up so I just don't eat it at all, where possible.
