So, I've heard Heather and others talk about building up a tolerance to Soy to where it won't cause gas anymore. Is it the same with whole wheat? I miss Whole Wheat bread soo much, but right now I can't eat it without getting major gas. Does it work the same way .. if I introduce it slowly, could the gas possibly start to subside? Or is it different with Whole Wheat?

Wholewehat is high in IF so it's a Gi stimulant. If you minimise it and cushion it with SF you should be able to slowly reintroduce it...IF is crcuial for health.

Oh I know. I've been on the diet for about a year now and am stable ... but I have completely avoided Whole Wheat Flour for the most part. (I get my IF from other sources) But I miss the whole wheat. And, even with SF as a cushion, I still get gas. So, I wondered maybe if I introduce it slowly and in small amounts, my body will learn to get used to it. But, I have also heard people say that they will NEVER be able to tolerate WWF.
