I have 2 fissures and they are VERY painful. I am an IBS A - mostly C though. I HAVE to use Milk of Magnesia everyday to have nice soft BMs. I can't handle SF Supps or other high fiber anything like fruits or whole grains. Cooked veggies I am ok with. As a result of my lack of fiber, I have to use Milk of Mag to get things moving and keep the fissure pain at a tolerable level.
