IBS-A - diarrhea attack

I am having a very bad attack right now and I don't know what to do. I have IBS-a. Any suggestions? Help me please!

Here's what I do....let myself run to the bathroom a few times then I take immodium, lorazapam, fennel tea and a heating pad for the cramping. I've had a bit of D tonight but I know it is from those darn lima beans and corn I had with dinner...way too much food.

I do the same thing Franny does. I let myself go once. After that, I quickly take Immodium, hyoscyamine (the only anti spas that works for me), put on the good ol heating pad and sometimes a couple of pepto bismol pills. I swear the pepto helps with my cramping. This is my regimine only when my attacks are BAD BAD BAD. When they aren't so bad, I usually just stick with the immodium and safe foods until the attack passes, which could be a few hours or a few days.

I am feeling better today. I will probably stay around the house today but at least the pain is pretty much over.
