Is any MSG too much of a trigger? What if it is 2% or less of the ingredients?

I use to love when my mom made oven fried chicken. She would use the box mix "oven fry" and use an egg white wash and spray the baking dish w/ Pam. So everything is safe except that the "oven fry" mix ingredients contain 2% or less of MSG. Is that a lot? Is it enough to make us sick?
Any suggestions?
Thanks ya'll, Amber

It totally depends on your body. Some people here are not bothered by MSG, but some, like me, are very sensative. I hate to say this, but you never know until you try.

I have horrible and immediate reactions to MSG so any amount would trigger me, but everyone is different. Like Kree already mentioned you won't know unless you try, so if it is worth it to you then give it a shot or wait until you have a few days to recover

Have you checked the recipe index? There are two "oven-fried" recipes on there that I love - Shell's Balsamic Chicken and Honey Chicken - and a bunch more I haven't tried yet.
