I have been stable for about 2 months, but since my colonscopy I've had tailbone pain so bad. It hurts to sit a certain way. Anyone else experience this. It comes and goes, and I haven't told the dr. yet.

Hi Teach, I don't think it has anything to your colonoscopy. Have you started doing situps since then? That commonly causes tailbone pain. I've had that. -Bob

My tailbone pain started right around the same time that my IBS started. I have always wondered if they were related. Mine is severe and it is extremely painful to sit. I've received a caudal epidural and steroid shots for it. I've heard that a colonscopy could cause tailbone pain if there is trauma to the tailbone durin the procedure-- but this was just through Google that I found that info.. so not sure if it is accurate. My tailbone pain started before I had a colonoscopy, though.
