hi everyone. i had the oddest pain following consumption of cooked "safe" organic green beans [??] anyone else? the pain came the next morning/daytime and it felt like i had a twist/knot on my lower right side. today i felt immense pressure all across my whole lower abdomen. for those of you who read my plan B post: is this some kind of wierd aftermath-thing since my body doesnt take birth control drugs or did i just have a really really bad reaction to the green beans?? thanks guys for any info. i am in so much pain its killing me! [not really but you know] *HUGS* guys, hope youre all feeling well~

How much did you eat and what else did you eat with them? Green beans are "IF" in case you did not know that. Could also just be stress related to plan B?

If you added the corn, that could have just bumped the IF too high. Also, I have noticed that sometimes if I eat something 2 days in a row, it will bother me. (BTW, I also suggested this to someone in my support group one time and when she spaced her potentially problematic food items out over a few days rather than every day, she didn't have the problems.)

Have you had them before with no problem? Did you eat a piece of white toast first? Were they cooked?
I eat green beans a lot! I usually cook and puree them and have them on rice noodles or with potato.
I would bet on the corn or the pill you took. Just my opinion.

I bet it was the Plan B. I actually made a post awhile ago about Plan B, and how it gave me an attack

Juist reading about having green beans 2 days in a row made my stomach knot up! They're one of the first foods I realized I could NOT eat. I was about 12 (had IBS for 5 years already) before I permanantly scratched them off my list. Even cooked they still hold their stringy, fiberous shape. *shudder*
Sorry, just one last *shudder* again.
