Has anyone tried Amy's Soy Cheese Pizza? I found it at Kroger. Its made from all organic ingredients. Just wondering if it is safe and tasty.

I don't know if it is safe according to Heather's diet. But I can tollerate them well. They are good! They are easy to add your own toppings to them as well. I'll have to read over the ingredients again since I haven't had one in a while. But now that you mention it I could go for one soon!
Try it out sometime and see how well you tollerate it. Everyone is different.

it's a little high fat (around 30%, if i recall), and the crust is whole wheat. but i handle it fine - my only problem is that one serving (1/3 pie) isn't really enough. i always want more. but other than the cheese melting to your teeth, it's very tasty, as long as you can handle the fat.

I love this and usually eat the whole thing! Which for some would not be good because of the fat content and the fact that it does contain casein. But they are my heavenly substitute for the real thing. I love to doctor it up with toppings. But be real careful at first. See how much you can tolerate to eat. Make sure you are stable and that traces of dairy doesn't bother you. Happy eating!!!

I just had one and I didn't have any problems with it. I only had 2 slices and if I was really hungry, I know I would have to eat more. It does have casein in it, a very small amount. I'd try just a small piece to see if it agrees with you first. IT's not like the real thing but it is OK.

I used to eat it all the time, but I had to go across town to get it. If you do a search in this Board, you'll find a lot of posts about it.

I actually "discovered" something better. Now I just take a package of grated soy mozzarella with me to the local pizza parlor. They're very accommodating; they use my soy cheese on my pizza, then comment to me how fabulous it smells as they're serving it to me. I'm eating pizza like all the other patrons, and it's FABULOUS! They even reduce the price of the pizza for me! It's just SOOO do-able!

Lisanatti Premium Soy-Sation Shredded Mozzarella Style "cheese alternative" produced without using biotechnology. No gluten, MSG or Cholesterol. High calcium, reduced sodium.

It's available in cheddar as well as mozzarella, and I get it at Fred Meyer and Safeway. It's great on pizza and scrambled "Egg Beaters," and I've even used it in samiches.
