DEF smell things before eating...it works!!!

I had no idea Teddy Grahms were so safe....yippee!

I have to say...even bread can give me reflux! Am I just not normal? I'm not taking anything for it atm...but I prob need to be.

(I need to see an endocronologist for my super enlarged nodule, a GI for my reflux, gyno for the ladie's probs I've been having...uro for the IC...it never ends!)

*sigh*

Which one to take care of first?

Can having untreated GERS/heartburn/ulcers do damage to a person? If so...I supose i'll start with a GI

That sounds like a good idea! Smell it before eating it....
I don't know, sometimes I just don't have an appetite and have to force myself to eat, whether I want to or not....
Definitely see a GI if you're having reflux. It can get out of control like mine did. I didn't know I had reflux. I don't have the burn-in-the-chest typical heartburn symptoms. I just feel sick and it feels IBS related. Then my GI doc tells me I have reflux and a hiatal hernia. I had no idea!!!

I bought a liquid vitamin and it still upset my stomach......it says to take 2 tablespoons a day and I took 1 teaspoon and it still gave me reflux. So, I think vitamins are out, totally, for me at least for awhile!!
Hope they work better for you guys!!

Yup--I'm farting more! Finally! And it feels good to get it out, to HEAR them resound! Passing WIND--honestly, trapped gas makes me so nauseated that to fart is a joy, a treat and I hope to do more of it! Ode to Gas-X/Dioval Plus. I guess it's akin to the feeling of having a hard crusty "poop" stuck in the pipes. Not a good thing.

Yes, I know, I'm a little weird.

Ditto.

I'm doing better, inspite of my major nausea, this morning (had to grab Pepto. and my retired salad bowl/now barf bucket--noway I'm ever eating a salad again!). I slept it off. Maybe it was trapped gas? I don't know. But, like you, if I have trapped gas, I vomit or have some reflux. Sticking to safe foods really helps/soft foods.

I'm glad you had a good day. I hope today is good for you too! I think my D is finally stabilizing! Yippee!

Kate.

I'll check it out, thanks, Ruchie. I'm just at the stage that if I pop another pill I'll hurl. I used to take liquid mineral supplements when recovering from anorexia.

I'm sorry you weren't doing well this morning, either....I didn't know you ate salad, yesterday!!!??? I won't eat salad, yet, either. Have you been able to eat yet, today?? I haven't......I feel like of hungry, kind of nauseated. I can't tell which....... I want to try to eat but at the same time, I want my stomach to calm down a little more before I even try.
This sucks!!!! I took my Nexium at 10:00 and I just feel worse. Took another 1/2 of Imodium at 10:15, don't feel any better. I'm sipping on Chamomile tea right now.....still not feeling better. I hope I don't throw up!!!

Seriously--now if I smell something sulfurous, I get heartburn so bad. The smell of broccoli cooking will give me such an evil D attack! My border was peeling a pail of onions and garlic to put in her lamb stew and I just had to leave the house and open the windows. I instructed her to NEVER do that in my prescence EVER again!!!
