Calcium & vitamin C

I suffer from IBS-C and take a multi-vitamin but as a woman of 35 I know I need to take more. I tried the Viactiv but that made the C worse. Does anyone know of a calcium supplement that does not cause C?

Also, when fighting a cold I know you are supposed to take more vitamin C but that upsets my stomach. Is there a stomach safe supplement out there?

Thanks for the help.

Echinacea works great for me when I start getting a cold. It doesn't take it away, but it sure makes the symptoms more livable. Have no idea about how it reacts with IBS--it doesn't bother me, but we're all different. Sometimes you can get it with Goldenseal included, but I don't know about that either with IBS.
