It's not D thankfully but just an over active bowel. I eat...I have to go. I go and I still feel like I have to go. Anyone just have a few days like this for no apparent reason? I ate safe today and yesterday yet I'm going and going. Do you think it could because I haven't had an Immodium in a few days and I was taking one every morning. I do on days I have to work but haven't taken one over the weekend. Can one get a tolerance for Immodium or even a need for it to keep an active bowel less active?

Just wondering....
Sandy

I am the same way about the immodium. If I quit taking it on the weekends (when I have nowhere to go) I do go a lot. But my take on that is that it is ok to get cleaned out good sometimes. As long as it is not D I don't get too excited about it. I usually try not to break the cycle of the immodium, just once in awhile.
