More IF, over all, ALL the time. And if you're aiming for one food that will always make you go, you're probably going to be disappointed, because the vast majority of people don't work that way. *hugs*

These pears are skin off and have been lightly cooked for canning. The pickles and relish aren't cooked as long (10 minutes) so that you retain the crunch, and the dessert pears (a lot of people call them salad pears) are pear halves that are canned in a lightly sweetened syrup and used to make pear salad (hear in the south that is simply filling the middle of the pear with a dollop of mayonaise and then sprinkling grated cheddar cheese on top). I had a "dessert" pear with my lunch today as a matter of fact - crunchy and sweet!

I will have to ask the folks that own our house and who planted the tree the type of pear. They are HUGE - softball size - and very grainy in texture. The skin is a mottled green color. I'm addicted!

Casey was right! It's just weird that it worked for me 3 times in a row! Wouldn't anyone conclude that it was the peas? Nothing else changed....I did miss my walk last night though, too, so that didn't help much.

Also, I never go after eating creamed corn the night before. So, I concluded that specific veggies had specific results for the next day. If I need to go, eat peas. If I can take a day without a BM, I can enjoy my corn.

Hi Beth, I also think you may be 'pysching' yourself out. If
you dwell on having a BM, then it end's up not happening. I've
been having that problem too with the 'other brain'. I've had
better BM's on days I have classes and am focused on teaching,
than on off days when focused on,and worried about having BM's
. It's like the other brain is playing games with my main
brain. -Bob

Within minutes of getting into a mall, I have to abandon all dignity in a dash to the loo. Works every time.

I find carob covered raisins in my local HFS. I've never seen them anywhere other than at a HFS, actually. It's an acquired taste, but once you get used to them they're really quite addicting. I ate a decent amount just because I felt like snacking... but I don't know how many it would take to do the job! I think they're just a yummy way to get some extra IF.

As for the cider, I would assume the instant kind would work. I've never tried it. But I bet it still has a lot of IF!
