hey guys...i'm soooooooo sick. for the last two days i've been MISERABLE. Yesterday (Sunday morning) i woke up and i had pretty bad d...not regular ibs d...but (tmi) more watery and loose. but i only had it in the morning. but i had stomach cramping all day. it started to taper off yesterday, then last night it got bad again (i've been taking imodium and pepto) then this morning about 5 i woke up with really really bad cramps, so i took more imodium and pepto. then about 7:30 i got up to get my daughter ready for school...and i got a really really really bad d attack. where i was stuck in the bathroom for about 30 minutes...i didn't make it on time....and i was cramping. it wasn't like on-going d the whole 30 minutes....it was bad (and really -tmi again- mucusy and looked like possibly blood) so i went in the bath to get my cramps to go away..then took more immodium and pepto. i've been drinking what i can for water, and having jello and popcicles because that seems easier to keep me from feeling nasious. but my stomach is cramping so so so bad where nothing seems to help...it goes on for about 5 minutes then lets up a tiny bit. when i stand up it hurts...where i have to kind of double over...and it feels like sharp pains almost like razor pains you know?? my doctors haven't done full blown tests on me...because i have crappy insurance...and they give me a run around. they say ibs...but still haven't fully seen me really well. the pains kind of feel like ovulating pains (i have bad pains when i ovulate) but still nasious...etc...and i don't get d..and i ovulated about a week and a half ago...my mom just called me and asked if they have done an mri on me. my boyfriend is worried because it doesn't seem like a normal stomach flu because i'm not throwing up too...anyone have suggestions?? if i call my advise nurse they will tell me to go to the e.r. as they always do, and i'd be there all night...and i'd feel even more horrible from sitting in a nasty waitiing room with really really gross ghetto people...i need some help though!!

I'd vote for some type of intestinal illness. Can you go to a walk-in clinic, doc-in-the-box kind of place rather than the ER? That's what I did last winter when I had something like what you have - here's my experience then.

Feel better.
