I ordered Heather's Fennel Tea Bags and started drinking 2 cups a day. Absolutely love it! But, what I've noticed, and it seems since I have started drinking the tea, is that my bowel movements have been getting looser and looser by the day. And, I need to "Go" alot. No cramping/pain. More like when you have the stomach flu and you have diarrhea---that's the feeling. Then this morning, I had an accident!! I was so embarrassed! Thank God I was home and could handle it easily with no one noticing. I just had to "go" immediately, headed for the bathroom, but absolutely could not hold it in. I have NEVER had this happen before. I have always been IBS--C (for over 20 years). What do you guys think? Could I just be changing to IBS--D now after all these years? Do you think the Fennel Tea could have made me more D? I have been very stable on Heather's diet for several years. Now this "thing" comes up--so it's not that I've changed my SFS or diet lately. Just added the tea. Please let me know what you guys think, any ideas or suggestions. Thanks for reading this and taking the time to answer. I'm still in shock, (and embarrassed) over what happend this morning.

Don't worry about it...it's happened to the best of us!

As for the tea, I've never heard of it, but who knows? Why don't you try cutting it back out and see how you feel. And, if it goes away and you feel up to it, try adding it back in to see if it comes back - in case it is something else. There's no chance you could have some type of bug? I know I had one last winter but didn't recognize it right away. It's hard to tell (well, at least for me anyway) with this stupid IBS clouding things up.

Hope you feel better soon!
