I had my colonoscopy two days ago. Things looked clear, but the doctor did take three samples from different areas to biopsy. I was able to eat solids again yesterday, but today I have had a lot of pain/discomfort which comes and goes. I imagine that some of this is my colon getting used to solids again (I went three days without), and recovering from the citromag and the little nicks to the colon. Did anyone else have similar experiences? How long did they last? I guess I just want to make sure that it is nothing more serious, but I have had no bleeding, so I think that I just may need time to recover.

I had some pain after my tests, the doc said that it was normal to have some pain and very minor bleeding for a bowl movement or two. The stuff you drank to clean your colon is hard on your colon and will leave some pain. My pain stopped after about two or three days.I hade bad D for a week though. Hope you fell better soon.

Yeah, I had the same problem with a little pain after the colonoscopy but it only lasted about two days and it didn't bother me too much; I guess because the anasthesia took a while to get out of my system.
I'm sure your fine, but if it persists for more than a few days you might want to talk to your specialist about it.

Others have pretty much covered it but I had pain, too, sure some was from where he removed polyps but mostly I was in pain from the gas left in there, took a long time to work all that out plus things were sluggish a while so the C was a problem (my typical). It'll get better but know that doesn't help you now, sorry!
