Hey guys. I found this on a website that I order another supplement from (Rhodiola Rosea). When I saw that they also had a fiber supplement, I was really excited. I wanted to give you guys the link, in case anyone was curious in trying it. It gives a pretty thorough description on what exactly is in the supplement, and how it works. Its definitely worth look at!

I wish they'd give the dosage tho!

And remember that any SFS with a high amount of IF in it can be too harsh for some people, especially D's.

from another site. Super Seed .Looks like it contains lots of beans (lentil, kidney, garbanzo) as well as millet, seeds, amaranth...which are all IF.

Do you guys think this might help a C person without causing more problems? Do you guys see any SF in this?

Hi Cyndy, Heather says lentils have lots of SF in them, but
didn't say exactly how much. -Bob

Yup, most beans are mostly SF - it's just the skins that are IF. Quinoa is SF too, not sure if the fact that it's sprouted would make a difference though...

Definitely looks interesting - lots of other good stuff in there other than fiber It is a little bit high in fat though (30% if you ate it alone), likely from all those seeds. I think it would be a bit too much IF for me (as a D), but from my understanding, an SF/IF combo SFS can be helpful for C's. Not a C though, so Ic an't speak from experience or anything.

Even though beans are SF, wouldn't this SFS cause major gas?

Beth, I think it would totally depend on the person (as with most SFSs) - i.e. individual tolerances to beans et al.

Just wanted to give some input. It tastes really gross to me. When I mixed it up, it got really think. I can't really describe the taste. I didn't take it long enough to notice any difference. I'm IBS-C.

The Poten-Zyme™ Process:
Each of the nutrient dense ingredients in Super Seed utilizes a natural proprietary process of lacto-fermentation and enzymatic pre-digestion called "Poten-Zyme™" (Poten-tiation by Enzym-atic activation). This exclusive delivery system employs 14 strains of beneficial probiotic micro-organisms within a whole food matrix, thereby liberating valuable medicinal compounds, and enhancing bio-availability and absorption of healing properties as much as 2-5 times. Note: The Poten-Zyme process makes the seeds and legumes used in Super Seed™ significantly easier to digest; by neutralizing phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors, and breaking down difficult to digest complex sugars, thus reducing the flatulence usually associated with beans and seeds

That was in the supplement description ... I'm not sure if it really works that way or not, but at least thats what its supposed to do
