What about THIS product? Local Wal-Mart has it and I wondered about it's effectiveness. It also contains Di pac, anyone know about this additive?

Do a search on it. There's a couple threads on it.

I have a free sample of it,but I've been too paranoid to try it.

The dr. gave me some samples and it was great. Best I've felt in years. UNfortunatley I ran out and haven't been able to find it in the area (drugstore has it on order for me) and I miss it like crazy. I am just able to sit up again after a major attack. The person in charge here called the Dr. was going to send me to the hospital. I said I'd wait a little longer and after another couple of trips to the bathroom it eased off and I fell asleep for a while.
I hope it work as good for others as it has for me and I hope it KEEPS working for me.

It contains both Mannitol and Aspartime which are both Artificial Sweeteners. Check out this previous thread. Digestive Advantage It causes cramps, spasms, and awful things! Not worth it at all! IMHO, the company is negligent as they have no one on the telephone that can even answer a simple question as to what is in the product, how much fiber it contains, or any other simple question. She wanted to take my phone and address before she would forward my simple questions to anyone beyond the 800 number listed on the package.

Hi I have written some threads on this before. I have been taking it for weeks now and I love it! I just went to the doctor today and had a sig test(because of previous hemmroids) and I asked him about it. He said if it worked then take it and let him know. I am going to call him back with the exact ingredients and make sure they are ok, but he said it sounded ok. It has not caused any spasms of any kind for me, I hope it works for you! Every medicine that has come out for us always has side effects so you can't say one is worse than the other unless you try it. I would say try it for like 2 weeks and just see..if it doesnt do any good than just quit!..Better to know than not know!

...which I found out by a google. So, this contains Dipac Sugar, Mannitol artifiial sweetener, and Aspartame artificial sweetner. Looks like a lot of sugar/sugar substitutes.

On the box I have, it doesn't list any of those ingredients. It says it has "red sucrose specs" but sucrose is table sugar, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Just for clarification, here are the ingredients:

Cellulose, Lactobacillus Cultures, L-Lysine, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Maltodextrin, Magnesium Stearate, Flavor and FD&C Blue Lake and Red Sucrose Specs.

I found this thread which explains it. Did you have your box for a while? It appears that they have replaced the sucrose specs with mannitol and aspartame.

Does the DA help you? Are you going to take the new one with the Artificial Sweetener? I want to try this, but I'm scared of the Artif. Sweeteners.
