I just take Citrucel with every meal. Which seems to work for me.

I'll take Miralax when I need it. (usually only happens if I cheat)

My biggest trigger is dairy, so if I stay away from it I'm doing good.

I just make sure that I get plenty of IF in every meal.

Ever since I've started the diet, I have a bm everyday.

I have "stabilized" myself to the point where I have a movement if not once a day, once every other day. I did this by having weekly acupuncture treatments and taking herbs for about 5 months. I have issues with gas and bloating so I am just starting the diet in hopes that it will take care of these issues. So far so good. Dairy and whole wheat are the biggest triggers for me. I definitely recommend acupuncture. I will admit that it hurt sometimes and it's not cheap. But I feel so much better than before.

What works for me is staying away from dairy, red meat, and fried foods. I take 1 tablespoon of Acacia at night before bed and sometimes 1 tablespoon in the morning. I drink lots of water and really that's what I have found to work for me. I do stil get gas and bloating when I overdue something so I will take Gas-X to relieve it. To be honest my biggest relief has been to not stress about IBS and learn to live with it and not let it run my life. That I believe has helped my stomach to relax and I don't obsess about a BM every day.

Do you take a digestive enzyme, probiotic, or magnesium? Or just the SFS? How about a AD?

I think that my obsession with the IBS is my biggest trigger too. thanks for sharing.

Beth-
No I do not take an AD or any of the other things you mentioned. Just the SF and Heather's peppermint caps. BTW don't take those right before bed. I woke up in the middle of the night and I thought I was breathing fire! The peppermint did not settle well taking it right after I laid down!
