Hello! A question to a fellow UKer.....how does this weather affect your IBS? Pheeeewwwwww (I love the sun - but am a weeee bit sweaty today!)...

Hi Nikki, not Linz, but yes, this weather does affect my condition. Fortunately (unfortunately as well) I am ill-health retired so am at home and it is easier to keep coolish.

Well HOT weather makes me D but the weather we've been having is only borderline hot enough for that (I've been to some VERY hot places)...I have had a few days when I needed an Immodium tho. Other than that I'm just struggling to not get dehydrated.

..me too on the dehydration front! I have been having 3 litres a day, and I've needed more, but there just ain't been enuf hrs in the day!!  it seems like forever since last summer, I guess coz I haven't actually been hot since then! ho ho!
