So have you *tried* the IBS hypno program? Obviously, being tense and anxious isn't helping your C...
I'm mainly C (I go to D when under a lot of stress), and I'm definitely more regular now that I've done the hypno program. Part of this is reducing my anxiety-driven D so I can get insoluble fiber at every meal, but part of it is purely the hypno. For example, a year ago if I got a little C I stayed that way for at least a week. Now, my body gets back on track again in a day or two. I swear my diet has not changed since then, so it's gotta be the hypno that I did last fall.

I don't know how much lemon I add. I just squirt some in the water! The warm water just relaxes my stomach right away. (I wouldn't put a lot of lemon. Just a little. Like take a slice and squirt it in there.)
As for the MOM, I rarely take it (maybe 2-3 times a year). I save it for very painful times when nothing else works. And I only take a tiny bit (about 1/2 or 1 tsp.) That seems to do the trick for me. If I take a tablespoon or 2, like the bottle says, then I suffer with D the next day!
I would never take it on a daily basis because then my colon would become dependent on it.
Good luck! I hope this helps you.

Do you not think that you should address your anxiety/stress issues? You're unlikely to get completely stable without doing so.
Why not try the hypno program?
