Keep your fingers crossed that he'll suggest a surgery for my GERD!! And maybe have some great advice on the IBS that I'm not aware of yet.

How were you diagnosed with IBS, Shannon? Have you had any tests yet?
BTW, is the Zelnorm still working for you?

and have a doc who is very consciencious. He put me through all the tests, and then diagnosed me.  All free of charge, because Canada rocks that way. But now because things have gotten worse with my GERD, I have to see the surgeon/Gi doc for possible surgery.
My regular doc(we don't have HMO or whatevers...) I believe actually HAS IBS because he understands far too well what's going on with me. He always forgets i have critical life-threatening asthma, but every detail about my IBS is clear!
And the Zelnorm, i quit it basically. now I just take it for SUPER C days.
