I HATE HATE HATE being C!!!

i have been off my Zelnorm for a day and have had a ton of triggers the last few days because my little brother was in town. I'm paying for it today.

I just got over strep and the penicillin was making me so D I didn't bother with the Zelnorm. maybe my body's in shock!!

I so would love to be D over C ewven though I get them both all the time.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

incorporated into my morning smoothie. (about 3 TBSP) only once a day.
I stopped the Zelnorm for a while so that my system could catch up, and I think the C came from having a few drinks the night before. I'm crampy but going fine today.

Saw a dietitian today and she said everything I'm doing is perfect. She's allowing me a tiny bit of red meat weekly. it's never been a noticeable trig. for me unless I have it a lot.

Anyhow, I'm totally convinced I'm an A. Which I'm happy about-my D comes now for quite a while, and I've never had impacted stool, and I don't feel crazy now, saying that I'm A.
