help - gas pains

I have the worst pains very low down....they are like cramps, but 10 times worse. they keep coming and going which is better than earlier when they were constant. I'm IBS D and haven't gone to the bathroom in 3 days which is totally unusual. is there something i can take to make the pain ease up? gas x? mylanta? please help....

I get those coming and going pains also, and the ones that seem like they stick around ALLLLL day!!! Down real low- sort of below my belly button. And that is just what they feel like menstrual cramps that don't quit.
Give some Gas-X a try, it's worth a shot at this point.
Watch what you are eating also, try to stay away from the known gas producing foods until you can maybe pass some gas or have a good BM.

I usually take like 6 gas-x a day! They will help break up the bubbles and make it easier to pass, thus making it less painful! I would start with 2 gas-x twon times a day and see if that helps. Also try the heating pad when you are home, it will also help relax the muscles so everything can pass easier! Feel better soon!
