Have any of you found that you had spotting when you began this diet?

I am 29 and have had this twice in my life, when I was pregnant and when I was on a different BCP... and now, two months in a row.

It's marginally possible I could be pregnant, but I really, really doubt it. I'm on the pill, have been for a year and a half since DD was finished BF.

I am on Zelnorm for about a month now, it IS ovulation time, and I HAVE lost 10 lbs, but...aaagh! Could it be? We'd so not be ready again! Not that a baby wouldn't be a blessing...

I certainly haven't had any spotting and it doesn't sound like it could be IBS related, BUT some spotting between periods is normal for most BCP. I'd call your GP doctor and check, because if you ARE pregnant, being on the pill is not such a good thing!

possibly. but I tend to occasionally miss the odd pill. there've been months before where I've missed like 3 pills and not spoted or been PG. But i can't see a doc till next Friday. maybe time to get a test.

Nope, no spotting for me either. But it makes since to me that loosing weight or changing diet and exercise might affect the way your BC affects you. I would TOTALLY be going to get a home test, if I were you. I had my BC pills make me miss my period before. Talk about panicked! I think I bought 2 or 3 test, just to be sure! LOL

I just wanted to also say good job on the 10 lbs!

have you missed your period at all yet? i didnt get mine for 2 months in a row! and the time before THOSE i spotted for 1 1/2 hours and then nothing.

i agree that it could be a result of diet change b/c thats what my OB/GYN and i determined when i visited a few days ago. good luck though! if its a baby then a *BIG CONGRATS*

It's been a while since I've had to worry about birth control pills or being pregnant, but neither spotting at ovulation time nor break-through bleeding while on the pill sound unusual to me. A pregnancy test kit sounds like a great idea and, if that's negative, a quick call to your doctor for some reassurance. If it's positive, of course, a quick call to your husband, then a quick call to your doctor

One question. You said: "since DD was finished BF". I assume "DD" is "dear daughter", but I don't think "BF" can be "boyfriend" in this context. So what is "BF"?
