I have to do a bowel prep next Wednesday and I was reading the list of things you can have and it says broth, jello, popsicles, water, apple or white grape juice, tea or coffee, cola and giner ale. So my question is would it be ok if I ate jello and popsicles?? Are there any brands that are safer to eat (for the popsicles) or should I just avoid them. What about sprite - would it be ok to drink just this once for this? I know Im gonna be miserable anyways but I dont want to add even more pain to the situation! Any tips?? Thanks!

Hi,
Just last month I did this prep, and my attitude was that I'm going to be completely messed up, so what I eat that day (and the night before) can't hurt me any worse than what the medication was going to do! So I enjoyed my Dr. Pepper etc. that day, and since I'm mostly D, it might have even clear things out before I started drinking the "stuff". And since afterwards you are completely cleaned out, it won't have any lasting bad effects.

Good luck!
