I know this is going to be kind of graphic and I apologiz WAY AHEAD of time--- But I need to ask this.
WHen I poop I have a problem getting clean back there--- I wipe and wipe and wipe and wipe- It takes forever. To the point where I make my butt hurt/burn from wiping so much. I can go through a roll of TP (just about) from trying to get clean.. Anyone have this problem?? I mean I understand pooping and having to make 2 or 3 swipes to get everything- but this is ridiculous...
Sorry about all the nasty details, but I know you gals/guys understand...

I use the Fresh 'N Up wipes with aloe if it looks like it will take more than two handfulls of TP. I take two wipes and put them on top of the tp, that gets most of it. I also only buy Cottonelle brand tp, it doesn't leave any lint behind.

You're not alone.

I encourage you to leave a Tuck's pad there after you go and then come back about 15 mins later and take it out. If there is stil stuff there...do it again with a clean Tucks pad.

Wiping over and over is NOT good for you at all...so I would use the Tucks as they are moist.

You poor thing *big super hugs*

I hope this gets better soon and that you've mentioned it to your doc. I don't recall having your specific prob per say...but it used to get so stuck I could feel it sittng there.

I really hope you feel better soon...hang in there

Oh...have you heard of a sitz bath? I would check with your doc 1st but that might be helpful as well....

Thinking of you, Ruchie

Thanks everyone- I will definately try some "pads" to make things easier.
It is somewhat like some of it didn't finish coming out. And once I wipe it just spreads it and then it takes well forever..... Very frustrating.
Thanks again.
Melissa :-)

Well Thank You for those words of encouragement.
I actually felt a little skeptical asking it at first but I thought to myself- If anyone out there is having the same problem I am- They have to be on this board. You are so right- maybe someone else out there was reluctant to ask the same question, maybe they felt alone, like they were the only one- well if they read this thread they would know they are no longer alone..
Knowing you aren't alone always seems to make things a little better.
Thamks again for your input/suggestions.

Thanks for bringing this up, I just thought that it was one of those things that nothing could be done about (happens to me too). But, this will probably happen to you less and less the more stable you get, and longer that you have been stable.
I noticed that this is related to having incomplete bowel movements. The reason you cannot wipe it all is, ok this is gross, you didn't go enough, so it is still right there waiting to come out! making sure that you get enough insolubles and take enough fiber supplement, and water and exercise should help you out also, since I believe this to be a C symptom. I am IBS- A, but it seems like if I do not have D, than incomplete bowel movements is my biggest symptom. But, I barely have this problem anymore, except for this week, argh. Before going on the EFI diet I had this EVERY time!

I have a bucket of baby wipes next to the potty! I use these now instead of TP when I go poo. I always seemed to have some irratation back there and that has completey gone away with the switch to baby wipes! I buy them in bulk at Costco!
