Miralax...I'm in a bind and have no time to search...

I am off to Hawaii in a couple of days and just began my Miralax again. My question is can you take Miralax more than once a day? Thanks so much for your help.

YEP! You can alter the dose as needed! I think my dr said up to three cap fulls a day. Typically, I do just fine with one cap full but if you are just starting it, it may take a few days to really get going. If you get some D, than back off the dose a bit!
I find it works best to take it first thing in the AM on an empty tummy! I mix a spoon of acacia, a cap of miralax and just enough water tyo mix it up. Than I add some juice and drink it down! I will eat my breakfast a bit later, usually 10-15 minutes before eating is enough. The food on top of the miralax, really gets things moving for me! Remember you need to drink lots of water through out the day for it to really work well as it is an osmotic laxative and needs the water to work!
I took it with me on a cruise and pre-mixed acaci and miralax in little sandwich ziplock baggies. That way, every morning when we went to eat, I just tucked a baggie in my purse and asked for an extra glass to mix it with a bit of water, than added my juice to it! Good luck and have fun!

Thank you so much Michele! I used to take Miralax regularly and stopped...big mistake. I'm trying to get going a little faster for my trip. I'll try upping the dose by one capful to start. Have a great day!!
