Just curious re: if you've tried any of the algae/kelp/dulse/sea veg./chollera/spirulina for your C.
I've been logging and I swear by it for "regularity." No gas, bloating, D, etc.

Wait, this helps relieve constipation? I should look into it.

I notice an exceptional "REGULARITY" when I eat sea veg. No spasms. No bloating. No gas. No D. Heck, I can virtually "time" the bm. No joke. Basically, all I've been doing is adding about a tbsp. or so of kelp/dulse/algae/spirula/sea weed or whatever to meals. I'm vegan and sea veg. are a great source of iodine and b12. I just notice from logging/charting it that the frequency of my bm's--decreased transit times are hastened. I've been doing a little reading and apparently the alginates in kelp/dulse--sea veg. are potentially helpful for ibs. Run a google and see what you turn up. All I know is that I'm having some seriously smooth sailing poops these days.

Actually just so you know, sea veggies are NOT a source of B12!! That was a past misconception, it is now known that it contains a "fake" version of B12. Please make sure you take a B12 supplement, it's very important for your health!
