Does anyone know if taking a Wheatgrass supplement will have any effect on IBS? I have been reccomended Wheatgrass and I wondered if this will cause me any problems.
Thanks.

I'm an a but mostly suffer pain and D and I've been advised not to touch wheatgrass AT ALL as it would certainly cause me more D. If you're a C though might be a different story, I honestly don't know.

I take an energy pill that contains wheatgrass and have never had any problems. I drink it too from time to time.

I have only had one bar, and was fine with it, I'm not sure it is gluteny, I thought w/grass was a herby type thing?! Not 100% sure on that though....

Wheatgrass does not contain gluten. Wheatgrass is cut before the plant forms a grain (berry) and therefore has no gluten. Most wheat allergies are due to the GLUTEN found in the wheatberry, however because wheatGRASS is CUT prior to forming a berry/grain it is gluten free and safe for those with wheat allergies.
Is it IBS safe? I've never had a problem with it, personally. It's a great cleanser and full of antioxidants. A potent healer. However, consume at your own discretion.
