Oh my goodness this is so cool .... my friend went into a little store and came out with a bottle of water for each of us. This water is called MetroMint. It is peppermint water ... just water and peppermint. It is unsweetened so there are no IBS triggers. It is simply smooth and refreshing. I love my peppermint tea but this is a great alternative. There is a website www.mintwater.com listed on the bottle so maybe you can find it where ever you live. If you find it, let me know what you think.

This sounds like the drink I was given while in hospital following my hysterectomy last year. Wind (gas) is a big problem following surgery so we were all given peppermint water to drink. I thought it was great, but most of the other women didn't like it and even some of the nurses made very negative remarks ('waste of time', 'should just prescribe Windeze instead') their whole attitude was to drink tea and coffee and then take medication - it's a shame because hospital would be a great place to learn more about stuff like this.

Really I don't drop the Aloid in the water... I just tuck one on each side of my mouth cheeks and then when I drink the water it "feels" colder and very refreshing.....
I looked at the website for this and it looks like I will be able to find it in all kinds of stores around me I'll look for it and see how much per bottle her locally.

Linz Can we get these altoids in England? If so, are they available at major stores?
Thankyou. Judith Coventry

I saw this today at Whole Foods and bought 4 bottles, assuming I'd like it and have enough for a couple of days. Boy, was I wrong. The four bottles lasted me about four hours! This stuff is SO yummy. It's about 1.40 a bottle here in NYC, not too cheap, but whatever, I'm gonna start buying the stuff in bulk. I'm officially obsessed.
