So happy to be joined in misery with you all. I have just been diagnosed...aka eliminated...of IBS-A. I usually get C but I do get A once a week or so.
I get killer heartburn, major cramps, and it's somewhat relieved with poop, but not always.

I thought I had lactose intolerance for the last 10 years of my life. I'm thirlled to find out it's more, lol! NOT!

Sorry you had to find us but glad you did! Feel free to ask questions or just vent! We all understand!!

Have you started the diet or an SFS yet! I have found that Gas X taken on a regular basis and a probiotic have helped me a great deal as well as the diet.

Hugs

I'm only at the point of eliminating foods. I just basically "confirmed" it yesterday, but I'm very quickly finding out what is NOT working for me.

What is an SFS? I'm on Buscopan right now, so far it works occasionally.

...heartburn isn't actually part of IBS...many of us get GERDs which is the reflux problem but that NEEDS to be treated separately to the IBS as it can cause horrible complications if left untreated. Your doc should give you a PPI (proton pump inhibitor) like Nexium for this asap.
