IBS Awareness month

Did anyone hear that April is IBS awareness month?? I heard this or read this somewhere. Anyone know if they have IBS Awareness bands?? Myself and my family would be so interested in getting some of these as this is such a powerful condition that alot of people don't understand. They think it is all in our heads and if they took the time to try to understand--- (sorry, i'm getting off the subject)

hi melissa,
i saw it at www.iffgd.org - along with a ton of really helpful IBS info and awareness building ideas. it's a great site! now if we could ony get people *especially doctors* to understand... just a little...

According to this website - there is an IBS band - http://www.awarenessdepot.com/Colors.html (Though do not know how legitimate it is or not). Anne

btw - I checked the info on IBS awareness month - and it is good info for people who are not effected by the disorder.
