I've seen several questions about a good probiotic. I take Kyo-Dophilus. In studies done on this supplement it stands out as one that has lasting potency, and it doesn't need to be refrigerated! Dr. Andrew Weil recommends Culturelle, and I've also heard good reports on the Jarrow brand. All available in health food stores.

I was looking for a way to get those important Omega-3 fatty acids. Ground flax seeds were too much fiber for me. Flax seed oil made my tummy gurgle and my stools loose. I was reluctant to try fish oil capsules becuase of the fishy burps. Then I discovered Fisol, an enteric-coated fish oil that breaks down in the intestine instead of the stomach. There is no fishy "repeat," and it doesn't aggravate my IBS. It's made by Nature's Way.

Here are some yummy cookie ideas: Pamela's Ginger cookies and the Chunky Chocolate Chip cookies are both wheat and gluten free. And Newman's "Fig Newmans" are wheat and dairy free. Enjoy!
