Is regular tea a bad thing? I know coffee is out and certain herb teas are recommended, but I'm curious about regular tea.

Carol,
I have heard that regular tea is okay as long as it is organic (Green tea, Ginger)I really like the brand Traditional Medicinals. The only thing I have had problems with is if I make it to strong or if I drink it on an empty stomach it sometimes bothers me. Hope that works for you. Kendra

as long as it is decaffinated, caffeine seems to be the trigger there and regular tea has as much if not more than coffee. I have decaf orange pekoe and it is good, I don't see the difference

If you switch to decaf and still have problems stabilizing, experiment by dropping the black tea altogether. Tea has tannins in it, just like coffee does, that are a GI tract irritant. Good luck!
