Hello all,

My father in law sent us this article put out by Life Extension. Below is the link for the Life Extension Update Newsletter dated 2/17/2005. It refers to suppliments that will alegidly help with UC/ibs. Did any of you read this article and is there a chance that these supliments will help my wife or anyone else with UC with out causing a reaction or episode. We are new to this and I just want her well or as close to well as she can be.

are things a lot of us use... but IBS and IBD (UC and Crohns) are very different things and need to be treated differently at times... I don't know anything about the brand listed, but taking a probiotic for intestinal overall health and just overall health is not a bad thing... I use them and increase the dosages when I'm on an antibiotic aftr a mess a few years ago where I got a bacterial infection after long term run of antibiotics for another ailment.
