Hello to all! Anyone having trouble with high triglyceride levels on this diet? I don't understand, I've been following this diet since Aug. and have lost 15 lbs. Blood test shows levels to be 448 and should be under 100
Can this be caused by the high carbs? Doctor says to cut out fat but how much more can I cut following this diet?
Any suggestions?

I also have had trouble with high triglycerides. Avoiding sugar is a major help in lowering tri's. Also,I have lowered mine through exercise. I still eat white bread, (one sandwich a day) but avoid other simple carbs like cookies, cakes etc. I also dumped alcohol, carbonated beverages, and drink only small amounts of fruit juice

I'll give it a try! I was under the impression that cutting out the fat would lower these levels. I was confused about that because I've been following Heather's diet for 6 months now with great success aside from high triglycerides.
Thanks for your time.
