My wife finds Clove Ciggarettes relive her pains, Alternatives?

Hello all, I need help, my wife discovered, 5 mo. ago, that smoking clove ciggs, helped her condition. Constipation,gas, cramps and bloating. I tell her its in her mind and she has stopped smoking but i see the pain shes in now. I read with great humor the past posts about smoking pot. Its funny cause i live in the Mendocino Cty in California. Pot capitol. She has access to the best organic pot out there but doesntlike the smell or "slowing" effect on her. We have tried teas, laxatives, fibers diets to no avail. Your my last hope before i give in and let her smoke two cloves a day.
